it's a three day weekend, next week, and i'm stuck visiting colleges with my mom. lammmmeee. although, wendy said she liked udel when she visited her brother there, so maybe the whole thingy won't be so bad. and i like d.c. so that should be okay.
i was going to go to roger williams with lindsay and visit her friend and partay, but nope. i'm going to be all serious. creepy.
i'm still procrasinating, cause i haven't finished convoy's essay, started slock's, or signed up for a dance class. all of which i should really have done super soon. i won't end up signing up for a dance class, even though like everyone on the planet says that i better be or life as i know it will come to an end.

i'm a junior now. that's maddd creepy. i'm supposed to be all serious and focused and thinking about my future. i am not good at any one of those things. and my mom is going all crazian on me, talking about visiting places like udel, umaryland, and au soon. uhhmmm, aren't you supposed to do that shit senior year? pft.
in other newsss... lindsay and i officially rule at sneaking out of my house and being general badasses. hah. annnddd, yeah i can't remember anything else really. but i made mauve frosted cupcakes today. you wouldn't think mauve is a cupcake color, and it really isn't, but apparently i can't mix colors.
yup, so i'm gonna go eat tapas now that i've exhausted anything i've thought about in the past 5 minutes.
ooh and this thing is still broken. or malfunctioning. whatever, it doesn't work.

I can't sleep, so I figured I'd write in this thingy.
This summer has been interesting. Spain fucking ruled my life. Why is Europe so much cooler than America? Actually, the real question is: why am I here when I could be there? It's sooooo romantic, and cute, and old, and just fabulousss. And it definitely doesn't hurt that Spanish guys are gorgeous or the fact that they make you drink with like every meal. So, all in all, I love Spain and one day, I will live there and ride around on a vespa or in one of those clown cars.
South Carolina - 2 weeks; somebody kill me. I don't want to go! (I'm being a horrible daughter.)
Wildwood - 1 month with Lindsay, should be fun.

This year is sorta almost over :) & for once this year, besides the first marking period, I didn't actually have to hide my progress report! And, I finally found a dress yesterday for prom.
LBI this Friday! Thankkk youuu Lindsayy for coming up with the idea for this trip.
My birthday is next WEDNESDAY. Turning the big one-six and someone is gonna let me behind the wheel of a car. A scary thought for many, I know.
Man, since no one reads this thing or actually has a livejournal anymore, it's kinda like writing to myself. Weird.

Whew, so I did manage to pass all my midterms with my lowest grade being a B-. Pretty good, if I do say so myself. Oh & while I'm talking about accomplishments, my room has been totally cleaned & every item of clothing & shoes is color coordinated. I'm on a roll! It's kinda weird.
Now, where are all the guys like this in PV? Uhmmm.... because they might make me hate Valentine's Day a little less.

The trip to Spain has been finalized! My mom & I are taking an 11 day tour through the south of Spain [Madrid, Costa del Sol, Gibraltar, Seville, & other day trips]. I'm sooooo excited, it's ridiculous. I've already started picking out clothes to wear there [how typical of me]. Now, why can't July come any faster??
And on a side note, why can't I find a guy who will visit at normal hours of the day.

Well, I really don't think any of you particularly care what I got for Christmas. So I'll briefly state that I got a really cute chasmere scarf & a really cute printer for my camera. I'm also no longer poor. & I'm going shopping today & hopefully getting a new pair of shoes. Or 2. :) & thankss you to all of my friends who got me stuff, since I love it all.
Yesss, so my mom was SO drunk on Christmas Eve & she was hiccuping & falling into walls & it was hilarious. I printed out a picture of her trashed as proof. She said "I'm just happy Bethy. did you drink some champagne too? I didn't drink the whole bottle, did I?". Case in point, I love my mom even if she is a crazian bitch sometimes.

One week till Christmas, 5 days till Winter Vacation!
+ My uncle found this old photo album of my mom's that was from her senior year of high school & her senior year Rutgers yearbook. In the the high school one there's these pictures of her 18th birthday party & her friends passing the bowl hahahahahaha. Then there's some more of them throwing a toga party, lmfao. A toga party. And then them drunk at their own little Winter Formal. HAHAHA & my mom says my friends are so much worse than hers were.
+ Anthropologie is one of my new favorite stores. I bought a majority of my presents from there & pair of really cute pale yellowish flats for myself.
+ Christmas break!!!!!!!!! 5 FUCKING DAYS!!!
+ Winter Wonderland tomorrow! Haha, traveling to Ptown with school, awesome.
+ FIESTAAAAAAA!!!!! in the city for New Years Eve 2006! That'd be so sick, I'm hoping it's true.
+ Misabop invited me to CALIFORNIA for the Feb. break! YES I LOVE CALIFORNIA!
+ Snowboarding with Gina & someone else who can actually teach her how to snowboard over Christmas break. This should be interesting.
+ Talks about going to China or Spain this upcoming summer. Awesommmmme.
- This Spanish project that we have to have done by Tuesday. It has to have a visual like a slideshow or movie, 3-5 minute speech, 3-5 paragraph paper. Sra. Dunn is seriously crazy. So much for el espíritu de navidad.
- Holiday grumbles... mother bitching about cleaning, dad complaining about me not visiting, family complaining about what to eat, brother & dad upset that I don't plan on visiting soon [like they can't come up here or something... seriously], teachers loading on lots of work before we let out for Christmas.

- George Bush. Seriously, shut the fuck up. I do not give a shit about what you have to say about Iraq & all the "progress" you have made there. It's certainly not enough to make up for all the damage you have caused in general. & stop interrupting my tv shows!!!!

Woah, haven't updated this thing in a long time. It seriously needs a new layout.
Anyways, things have been pretty good. Thanksgiving was a pretty typical Chinese-trying-to-have-American-traditions-but-having-some-difficulties. Once again, I was the only "real" American there [that wasn't under the age 7] - even though we had the additions of my uncle's friend Tony & his wife, Catharine & my new aunt, Natalia.
4 day weekend once again was pretty good. I was sick for Tues & Weds, but nothing that interesting happened on either of those days. Friday afternoon - Sunday at 1 A.M. was spent in the NVOT area. Friday was chill & weird, seeing a good amount of people & being at a good level of intoxication. Marisa & I watched some good movies, such as: Blow, Crazy Beautiful, the Usual Suspects, & Power Rangers [not a movie, but we watched it on tv]. Then us & Wendy saw Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire. It's one of my favorite HP books & the movie was pretty good. The producer left out some important parts I thought, but it was a good movie in general.
Well, 60 minutes is on right now & they're talking about all the religious influence that seems to be having on government issues, like abortion & the day after pill. I think it's really weird that religion brings so many people together, but it's also the cause of so many people splitting apart. Think about it, there are loads of wars started over religion - the crusades being one big example. I'm not against religion or anything, I just think it's really strange how it goes to extremes in both directions.
